ht-webcam/) refer to downloading a copy of the driver from Mac OSX, but this also did not seem to work when I tried it on LM 20.1 XFCE before fresh install of LM 20.3. It instantly brings up a colourful copy of the script in xed, but nothing seems to have been installed, no errors appear, and the camera still doesn't work, even after reboot, or shut down/start up again. I have tried this link ( viewtopic.php?p=2113586#p2113586) to the script and followed the steps to download, open and run it by a series of double clicks.

It seems possible that the latter ID designation refers to the same camera name? Sudo lspci -v lists the camera as Broadcom 720p FaceTime HD, rather than the Broadcom 1570 mentioned in a few posts about setting up the camera.
