If you need to get rid of an item (for example you wont be offered a waterpistol if you already have one, since you can only have 1 waterpistol) you can sell too the balloon vendor, after pressing E to enable her sign thing, press F to go into selling mode.
Its very important that you do each step in order, you may already have a dino tooth water pistol or dragon egg somehow, but if you did not complete the quests mentioned above, you will not progress towards dragon wizard/dragons. (After you trade the waterpistol for the egg with the fisherman, the dragon wizard is unlocked and spawns at the volcanic biome, but i assumed you'd like to know the rest too) Go back for another egg and throw that into lava to hatch a fire dragon baby. Kill a dragon and feed it a chicken drumstick to unlock. Give him the egg to unlock him and then fire dragons should spawn. Go to the Volcanic biome and defeat a dragon wizard. Find a wandering fisherman holding an egg, trade him the water pistol for it. Trade her 2 dino teeth for the water pistol, go to the mushroom forest. Then go to a rain forest and find a wandering dino tracker they should be holding a water pistol like 50% of the time. Trade her for the tooth using the jem you just got. Then go to crystal crags, find a wandering jewel thief holding a tooth.
